Crude sunflower oil is used for nutritional purposes by humans. The crude oil obtained from plants plays a significant role in terms of the psychology, nutrition, and physiology of the human organism. This is essentially due to its high content of essential fatty acids and fat-soluble vitamins.
Manufacturers purchase crude sunflower oil from us to be used as raw materials in the manufacturing of diverse products such as animal feed, in quantities up to 5%.
Our crude sunflower oil is extracted from selected sunflower seeds per the following:
- Law regulations for ionizing radiation protection and nuclear safety ( Sl. glasnik RS, br. 36/2009 i 93/2012)
- Sunflower oil, crude (SRPS E.K2.020/1980)
- Law regulation for standardization (Sl. glasnik RS, br. 36/2009)

Uses of crude Sunflower oil
Sunflower oil is a non-volatile oil extracted from the seeds of sunflower. It is a triglyceride and it includes palmitic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid, and linoleic acid. Sunflower oil has a lot of impact on the skin. In a study, it was found that this product preserves the integrity of the stratum corneum and does not cause erythema. It was also found to improve the hydration of the skin. For both adults and newborns, it is important to get plenty of rest. The infant massage using this oil enhances skin barrier function and provides complete moisturization. Research suggests that it is a better alternative to olive oil for dry skin. This product contains a variety of vitamins and antioxidants that help keep the skin soft and elastic. It is also an excellent face moisturizer. This oil is beneficial for skin cells, helping to regenerate and prevent acne. Sunflower oil fortified with vitamin E helps to protect against the harmful effects of UV radiation. This cream offers photoprotection and is effective in reducing wrinkles and blemishes.
If you have high cholesterol, this may help lower your cholesterol levels. Most research shows that including sunflower oil in the diet can lower blood cholesterol levels in people with high cholesterol. However, the consumption of sunflower oil may not be as effective in reducing cholesterol as palm oil and linen oil. Some people may not find that sunflower oil is effective at lowering cholesterol levels, especially if they have peripheral vascular disease or are at risk for atherosclerosis.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding: There is little reliable information about the safety of consuming sunflower oil if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Avoid using it if it is not necessary. People who are allergic to ragweed and related plants may react to sunflower oil. If you are allergic, check with your healthcare provider before taking sunlight oil. Diabetes may be associated with a diet high in sunflower oil. This appears to increase fasting insulin and blood sugar levels. It seems that the effects of the supplement continue after taking it, by increasing blood fats. This may increase the likelihood of developing “arterial sclerosis” in people with type 2 diabetes.
Interaction with drugs
Drugs for diabetes (antidiabetic drugs) Interaction Rating: Moderate Be careful with this combination. Talk to your doctor.
Sunflower oil can increase blood sugar. Diabetes medications are used to lower blood sugar. Taking sunflower oil along with diabetes medication may interfere with the blood-sugar-lowering effects of diabetes medication. Monitor your blood sugar closely. The dose of your diabetes medication may need to be changed.
Sunflower oil dosage
The corresponding dose of sunflower oil depends on several factors such as age, health, and several other conditions of the user. We don’t know how much sunflower oil to give people at this time, because there isn’t enough scientific information on the topic. Remember that natural products can be unsafe and dosages can be important. Please be sure to follow the directions on the product label and consult your pharmacist or physician before using it. The oil is used as a medicine. Sunflower oil is used for treating constipation and lowering “bad” cholesterol. Some people apply sunflower oil directly to skin wounds, skin injuries, psoriasis, and arthritis, and use it as a massage oil.
